We are currently seeking a skilled Systems Engineer, specializing in Verification and Validation (V&V), to aid in the development, certification, and verification of avionic systems for electric aviation platforms. This pivotal role bridges systems engineering, safety, certification, and V&V, requiring active engagement in requirements definition, modeling, testing, and compliance demonstration at the component, system, and aircraft levels.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a certification-driven environment, possess a deep understanding of the importance of clear and traceable requirements, and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with certification engineers, Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs), design engineers, testing teams, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Engineering & Requirements
- Develop, manage, and validate aircraft, system, and component-level requirements
- Create and maintain requirements that align with customer, regulatory, and certification needs
- Ensure bidirectional traceability among requirements, verification methods, and compliance evidence
- Manage requirements within an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) environment (e.g., Polarion)
- Provide critical design feedback concerning safety, requirements completeness, and verification readiness
