About the Role:
At the heart of our system lie the computer vision algorithms that empower drones to perceive their surroundings. As an intern, you will design and implement the algorithms that drive every Skydio drone while collaborating with a world-class team specializing in computer vision and deep learning, including researchers who have significantly propelled advancements in both academic and industrial settings.
We are seeking interns for our Summer program. As a Research Intern, you will team up with members of our core software development group, taking on a pivotal project that will substantially enhance our team's capabilities and product offerings.

Your Impact:
Facilitate swift research and development of intelligent systems with unprecedented autonomous capabilities.
Conduct research, prototype new solutions, and evaluate the feasibility of innovative approaches.
Envision and implement features that deliver extraordinary experiences for our users.
Assess and quantify the performance of essential components within our software and hardware ecosystem.
Qualifications:
Proficient in C++ and/or Python, with experience using PyTorch.
A strong passion for one or more areas including computer vision, deep learning, motion planning, dynamics and controls, 3D graphics, distributed systems, or tools/infrastructure.
Solid foundation in software engineering principles and a dedication to producing clean, well-structured code.
Adept at thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, and small team atmosphere.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $47 to $53.
