Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent. Automotive training in basic car maintenance and repair or a comparable combination of education and experience. ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred where applicable. Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Required to own a basic set of tools or enroll in Monro’s tool purchase program. Profile Summary:Proficient in performing basic automotive maintenance, repairs, and tire services. Able to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and determine appropriate repair solutions. Capable of interpreting and executing instructions in written, oral, and diagram formats. Strong customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

About the Role:

Join our team as an Automotive Technician, where you can work either full-time or part-time hours based on the needs of our business. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential vehicle diagnostics and executing routine maintenance and repair services in alignment with our company standards and manufacturer specifications. Your goal will be to provide outstanding 5 Star service to our customers by effectively communicating vehicle concerns and proposed solutions while consistently meeting their expectations for quality and timeliness.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour guaranteed, with additional flat rate compensation ranging from $17 to $35 per hour based on experience.

This position also offers opportunities for additional incentives and compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct basic vehicle diagnostics to accurately identify necessary repairs.

· Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection process consistently for each guest vehicle, documenting and communicating any additional services or repairs needed; review inspections performed by General Service Technicians.

· Assist in managing inventory, including pulling tires and parts, and unloading and stocking inventory.

· Support general store operations, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld according to Monro policies.

· Adhere to Monro’s safety standards during service delivery, including procedures for wheel torque and oil safety compliance.

· Conduct test drives of vehicles as per Monro’s Road Test policy, following dedicated routes while obeying local traffic and safety laws.

· Understand and comply with company policies, governmental regulations, and environmental codes.

· Maintain technical knowledge and skills by completing all required training courses at Monro University in a timely manner.

· Operate and maintain all equipment safely, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.

· Perform additional tasks as assigned and required.
