Dive into an exciting career with Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte as a Kia Certified Service Technician, specifically designed for military veterans. This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), aimed at providing a supportive pathway for veterans transitioning into civilian careers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Kia vehicles, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Process repair orders and warranty requests following Kia and retailer guidelines.
- Conduct test drives, analyze issues, and utilize Kia diagnostic tools and equipment for effective repairs.
- Carry out services and repairs promptly while maintaining communication with the shop foreman and service advisors to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- Must possess an Honorable Discharge from military service.
- Hold a valid Driver's License from any state with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a technical or mechanical field is essential.
- Willingness to undergo drug screening and background checks is required.
