Charlie's Kia is proud to support skilled and experienced military veterans in launching a rewarding career as a Kia Certified Service Technician through the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP). This initiative is designed to provide veterans with the specialized training and experience needed to excel in the automotive industry.

Role Overview

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, focusing on engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Complete repair orders and warranty requests following established Kia and retailer policies.
  • Test drive vehicles to analyze, diagnose, and repair components and systems using Kia’s diagnostic tools and strategies.
  • Perform services and repairs promptly while collaborating with the shop foreman and service advisor to enhance customer satisfaction.
