Position Overview:
The Automotive Detail Manager is a pivotal supervisory role, responsible for leading and developing a dedicated team of associates within our Inspection Center. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that we consistently meet production targets while maintaining our high quality standards. Please note that this role is not visa eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the safe movement of vehicles in and out of the Inspection Center to ensure timely repairs while consistently meeting or exceeding production and quality benchmarks.
- Achieve and surpass daily, weekly, and monthly inventory production goals.
- Supervise the daily operations of your team, identifying strengths and areas for improvement to foster a high-performing work environment.
- Engage with your team by providing coaching, performance management, and constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages open communication, collaboration, and alignment with Carvana’s core values.
- Effectively communicate expectations and performance standards to all team members.
- Address and resolve any conflicts that may arise among team members.
- Ensure compliance with all operational systems, policies, and performance standards.
- Review inventory for mechanical and physical defects upon arrival.
- Collaborate with the Inspection Center General Manager to determine inventory repair viability based on cost and quality assessments.
