Your Impact: Our backend teams are engaged in a variety of domains, including core compute fabric resource management, service platforms, and machine learning infrastructure. You will tackle significant challenges such as: Enhancing Databricks' growth by developing foundational infrastructure platforms that ensure seamless operations across multiple geographic regions and cloud providers. Creating cloud-agnostic infrastructure abstractions to empower Databricks engineers to efficiently manage and operate their services. Designing tools and processes that boost engineering efficiency at Databricks, improving the developer experience across various domains including programming languages, linters, static analysis, IDEs, remote development environments, automated release pipelines, and test automation frameworks. Currently, we are focused on optimizing the Rust development experience across the organization.
