About the Role
RAK Bank is on the lookout for an energetic and strategic Associate Vice President to spearhead our Client Acquisition Team dedicated to SME Lending. This senior leadership position plays a crucial role in propelling growth across our diverse portfolios, including Working Capital, Trade Finance, Commercial Loans, Merchant POS Loans, Asset-Backed Lending, and Supply Chain Finance. Reporting directly to the Vice President & Head of SME Acquisition, the ideal candidate will merge extensive knowledge of SME financing with proven sales leadership skills, cultivating high-performing teams that drive sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and implement innovative strategies for acquiring SME clients through direct channels, partnerships, and networks.
- Build and nurture robust relationships with business owners, referral partners, brokers, and internal stakeholders to optimize acquisition and cross-sell opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of client acquisition professionals, fostering a culture of high performance through coaching, clear goal setting, and collaboration.
- Conduct regular market analyses to pinpoint opportunities, threats, and emerging trends, refining sales strategies as needed.
- Oversee the client onboarding process from start to finish, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Monitor performance metrics, tracking and reporting KPIs such as acquisition rates, conversion ratios, and portfolio growth, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, fostering a strong risk management culture.
