Requirements:Required Experience:Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience in scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, ideally with experience in multiple educational facilities or public works projects. Required Skills:Proficiency in the latest version of Primavera and MS Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings, and contract specifications to understand the required scope of work for various school construction projects. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to foster effective working relationships with project teams and departmental staff. Excellent organizational and planning abilities. Required Education:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.

The Tsui Group is on the lookout for a qualified and experienced Associate Scheduler to join our team, focusing on large educational facility construction projects in Los Angeles County. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of Contractor P6 initial baseline construction schedules, pinpointing any missing scope, logic, or milestones; analyze the critical path and assess required cost loading while providing detailed written technical review comments in accordance with LAUSD's structured review templates.
  • Evaluate multiple Contractor P6 monthly schedule updates, documenting any milestones schedule slippage, critical path activity delays, and overall schedule analysis through written comments based on LAUSD's templates.
  • Utilize P6 Primavera Schedule Software to create various activity schedule filters, layouts, and bar charts that aid the project management team in analyzing critical path construction schedule challenges.
  • Perform QA/QC on contractors' schedule submissions to ensure adherence to contract scope and project terms, validating logic ties to comply with scheduling guidelines for diverse project types.
  • Maintain accuracy through proper application of program-level standard codes, layouts, and reports to uphold data integrity.
  • Generate Earned Value Curves in alignment with LAUSD EVA template guidelines.
  • Prepare necessary reports and assist the scheduling management team in project reporting as needed.
