About the Role:
As the Associate Regional HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive HR services across our network of campuses in the NYC Metro area. This role provides an invaluable opportunity to gain practical experience in aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
Working closely with an HR Business Partner and within a dedicated team led by the Manager of Business Partnerships, you will cultivate expertise in delivering HR support that enhances organizational performance. This position is an excellent opportunity to enhance your HR skills and business insight by collaborating with campus leadership to develop and implement HR best practices.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing workforce data and trends, managing employee relations issues, supporting talent and performance initiatives, and promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This role offers a clear growth trajectory towards becoming a strategic HR advisor capable of driving performance, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness independently.
Our Northeast region presently comprises seven campuses, with plans for further expansion. This role is essential in ensuring that our People strategies evolve with our growth. As we scale, you will help build the relationships, HR practices, and data-driven insights necessary to effectively support and develop talent across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment
- Integrate yourself into your assigned region, gaining a deep understanding of campus priorities, challenges, and People needs to create a roadmap that aligns with business growth.
- Act as a trusted partner and advisor to senior leadership within the region, including Campus Leadership and Regional Directors, as well as AoPS HR leadership, collaborating to enhance our People processes and programs.
Talent Management, Workforce Planning & Performance
- Facilitate the implementation of organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Regional Talent Acquisition Partner to address strategic hiring needs based on your understanding of current and future business needs for the region.
- Support performance management processes by preparing materials, tracking completion, and coaching managers on conducting effective feedback, development discussions, promotions, and addressing performance issues.
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of training programs.
