Key Qualities for Success:We seek candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ICT, Communications Engineering, or a related field, ideally coupled with over 13 years of relevant experience in a consulting environment focused on buildings. Proven experience in leading ICT and Security design for large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, preferably with background exposure to healthcare, aviation, defense, or transportation infrastructure. Strong technical expertise in ICT architecture, networking, cloud solutions, identity and access management, clinical systems, structured cabling, and electronic security systems. Skill in managing client relationships, coordinating contractors, and delivering construction phase services.

Join our dynamic national ICT team as an Associate Director - ICT & Security. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead intricate, multi-disciplinary projects and drive technical excellence while mentoring the next generation of talent. Your contributions will span various projects across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring we deliver top-notch solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Your Impact:

  • Lead the design and implementation of ICT and Electronic Security systems for significant building projects, overseeing everything from client briefings to construction phase support and inspections.

  • Craft comprehensive technical solutions encompassing structured cabling systems, wireless networks, CCTV, electronic access control, intruder alarms, perimeter intrusion detection, Type 1A Security Alarm Systems, and cyber security frameworks.

  • Manage stakeholder engagement, project costing, technology road mapping, tender responses, and business development opportunities effectively.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and consultants, fostering a culture of quality assurance and high performance.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary Buildings + Places teams and the national Technology Advisory group to deliver integrated, forward-thinking solutions.

  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement and contribute to strategic growth within the ICT and Security practice.

This role offers flexibility, with the option to be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
