Professional certifications such as AACE, PMI-PMP, MSP Practitioner, APM, or RICS are highly desirable.10-15 years of experience in project, programme, and PMO delivery and controls, or analytics leadership roles within the infrastructure, construction, or energy sectors. Consultancy experience, preferably with a tier-one consultancy. Proven success in leading project controls and analytics initiatives for multiple high-value, complex projects and programmes. Experience in building and managing multidisciplinary teams, with a track record of delivering data-driven solutions at the executive level.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Controls Analytics Project Director to lead impactful analytics initiatives and manage a team dedicated to delivering transformative project and programme controls solutions. This is a unique opportunity to define strategic control frameworks and analytical methodologies at both project and programme levels, ensuring PMO functions are executed with data-driven precision. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior executives, fostering teamwork across multidisciplinary groups to optimize project performance.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of Controls Analytics Project Director, you will oversee the design, implementation, and governance of controls analytics solutions for complex infrastructure projects. This position encompasses strategic oversight and operational leadership in project controls analytics, ensuring that data-driven insights are utilized to manage project risks, control costs, and inform decision-making. This role is pivotal in aligning project outcomes with client objectives while delivering value through high-level controls and analytics expertise.

Strategic Leadership in Controls Analytics:

  • Lead the formulation and execution of a comprehensive strategy for controls analytics and back-office operations on large-scale projects, whether independently or as part of a PMO, providing insights to enhance project and programme performance.
  • Direct and supervise analytics initiatives across various project dimensions, including cost, schedule, risk, benefits realization, change control, and commercial management, promoting client maturity when necessary, and ensuring alignment with client goals and industry best practices.
  • Serve as the primary trusted advisor to executive stakeholders regarding complex PMO and project control strategies, analytics insights, and value-added recommendations.

Project Controls Governance & Compliance:

  • Establish and enforce governance structures and compliance frameworks to guarantee consistent application of controls analytics across all relevant project functions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines, advocating best practices in data management, analytics, and project controls.
  • Conduct regular reviews and refine controls analytics processes to continually enhance project performance.
