Your Role
As an Assistant Guide, you will collaborate in a mixed-age Montessori classroom (Infant, Toddler, and Children’s House, ages 3-6), creating a serene and engaging environment that empowers children to explore, learn, and progress at their own pace. You will assist in crafting beautiful, intentional learning spaces and support children through individualized and small-group activities, always demonstrating respect, patience, and care.
Your mission is to help children build self-confidence and realize their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe children closely to understand and cater to their individual needs.
- Prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized classroom environment.
- Facilitate individual and small-group learning activities.
- Establish warm, respectful relationships with children and their families.
- Work collaboratively with Lead Guides and team members to foster a strong classroom community.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children ages 3-6 in a school or childcare setting.
- A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
- A sincere passion for engaging with young children.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the Montessori framework (prior Montessori experience is a plus but not required).
