Qualifications

Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant work experience, with at least 6 years in the Civil/MEP sector, preferably in Industrial Projects and mission-critical construction QAQC. Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary semiconductor projects or similar industries is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of project control mechanisms and the ability to conduct commercial and technical risk assessments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to visualize and articulate issues effectively to various stakeholders. Exceptional organizational and coordination skills, demonstrating the ability to motivate teams of Consultants and Contractors. Ability to work collaboratively and proactively within a team environment. Proficient in English, with strong speaking and writing skills.

As an Assistant Manager / Manager of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust technical quality assurance and control systems. Your role will involve defining the standards, methods, and procedures essential for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of construction projects as well as their operational management.

You will actively participate in reviewing engineering designs to integrate quality requirements and considerations. Your analytical skills will be crucial in supporting construction teams by gathering and analyzing pertinent data.

  • Facilitate the establishment of QAQC procedures for civil activities in collaboration with clients.
  • Conduct audits alongside the core team to validate contractors’ QA/QC activities.
  • Serve as the focal point for specific disciplines, demonstrating thorough familiarity with project scope and drawings.
  • Review and monitor Contractors’ QA/QC plans and ensure adherence to the latest issued for construction (IFC) documentation.
  • Oversee Contractors’ quality records and ensure compliance.
  • Iissue and track Non-Conformance Record (NCR) items until resolution.
  • Coordinate and support the creation of mock-ups.
  • Act as the escalation path for relevant Project Managers.
  • Perform incremental checks to validate Contractors’ installations.
  • Participate in joint quality control walk-downs with Owners.
  • Assist in the Design Verification (DV) process and address quality issues during start-up and commissioning.
  • Engage in root cause analysis and establish a problem-solving program, ensuring timely defect rectification.
  • Conduct Quality training sessions for subcontractors.
  • Summarize and categorize various quality inspection statistics and prepare reports for supervisory review and continuous improvement.

Additionally, you will be responsible for capturing lessons learned from completed projects and identifying continuous improvement opportunities throughout processes.
