As the professional theater at Harvard University, A. R. T. thrives on collaboration and creativity, partnering with numerous academic departments, students, and faculty members. A. R. T. plays a pivotal role in Harvard’s undergraduate Theater, Dance & Media concentration and actively mentors students from the Harvard Radcliffe Dramatic Club at the Loeb Drama Center.
In this role, you will assist the Lighting & Projection Supervisor across all facets of show production, including crew management, maintenance, and recommendations for capital expenses. Your primary responsibilities will entail collaborating with Show Lighting Design Teams and rental houses, managing show documentation, equipment preparation, and leading activities during preparation, load-in, and strike. You will also oversee a contingent of temporary staff and co-manage other department personnel.
