Join our dynamic kitchen team as an Assistant Chef / Commi 2, where your culinary skills will shine in a fast-paced environment. You will leverage your expertise in a la carte cooking, mastering meat temperatures and presentation to deliver dishes that meet our high standards.
- Utilize your knowledge of a la carte cooking to produce high-quality meals that adhere to menu specifications.
- Efficiently prepare all orders from service staff, ensuring timely and accurate cooking.
- Ensure that food is presented at its best when it leaves the kitchen.
- Assist in meal service preparations, including sauces, soups, and other daily menu items.
- Employ standard food preparation techniques for all food products.
- Become familiar with menus, recipes, and presentation techniques.
- Maintain proper food storage practices, ensuring all items are stored correctly and at safe temperatures.
- Prepare food for other kitchen departments and for the upcoming shift, as directed by your Supervisor.
- Keep your work area, including counters, utensils, and equipment, clean and sanitary in compliance with health regulations.
- In the absence of the Supervisor, take responsibility for assigned employees, delegating tasks and ensuring performance standards are met.
- Report to work on time and in uniform, adhering to company policies.
- Follow safety and security policies, reporting any incidents or unsafe situations to management, and complete necessary safety training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
