Join Insomnia Cookies as an Assistant Bakery Operations Manager (ABOM) in Conshohocken, PA! This pivotal leadership role is crafted to nurture the next generation of Bakery Operations Managers. As an ABOM, you will operate at nearly the level of a Bakery Operations Manager (BOM), executing all bakery operations with a sense of urgency, precision, and accountability while honing your leadership abilities to independently manage a bakery.

In this dynamic role, you will blend operational excellence with talent development, administrative oversight, and team leadership. Acting as a vital extension of the BOM, you will need to be prepared to take on full bakery ownership when necessary. Our Conshohocken location is situated at 121 Fayette St, Conshohocken, PA 19428.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Execution
• Oversee all core bakery operations including inventory management, scheduling support, staffing coordination, and administrative checklists.
• Uphold stringent standards of product quality, cleanliness, food safety, and guest experience.
• Assist with ordering, ensure inventory accuracy, and manage shrink control.
• Contribute to schedule creation and effective labor management to meet operational goals.

Talent & Team Development
• Help recruit, interview, onboard, and train new team members.
• Provide consistent coaching and immediate performance feedback.
• Hold team members accountable to standards while fostering a growth mindset culture.
• Ensure adherence to onboarding and training programs according to company standards.

Leadership & Ownership
• Independently manage bakery operations in the absence of the BOM.
• Exemplify urgency, accountability, and operational discipline.
• Collaborate with the BOM and area leadership to identify operational gaps and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure seamless operations during leadership transitions or staffing shortages.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
• Ability to independently execute all BOM-level administrative and operational tasks.
• Bakery is fully staffed, trained, and operating to the highest standards.
• Strong culture of accountability and consistency within the team.
• Acts as a reliable operational leader in any coverage scenarios.
• Demonstrates clear readiness and potential for upward mobility into a BOM role.

• Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality operations.
