Qualifications

You are a technical enthusiast with a completed MBO-2 qualification in Electrical Engineering and a desire to further your education. You can work independently but understand the value of teamwork. Additionally, you meet the following criteria:A background in Electrical Engineering at MBO-2 level and a willingness to advance to level 3 or 4;F-gas category 2 certification is preferred, but if you don’t have it, we’ll help you obtain it;Experience with sustainable installations like charging stations, air conditioning units, and battery systems is an advantage;Possession of a valid driving license B;Comfortable with applying for a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct).

Hands-On Learning Experience

As a BBL Apprentice in Electrical Engineering at Feenstra, you will learn the trade through practical experience. Work alongside seasoned professionals who will mentor you every step of the way. Each day brings new challenges! One day, you might assist in installing a charging station for electric vehicles; the next, you could be involved in setting up air conditioning systems or learning how a solar water heater works to provide sustainable hot water.

You will also gain experience in replacing distribution boards, troubleshooting issues, and helping with the installation of battery systems like Growatt and Enphase. Additionally, you will learn to run cables and connect entire installations, all under expert guidance to ensure a safe learning environment.

Your journey often begins from home, where you and a colleague will venture out in a Feenstra van. Collaboration is key here; it’s educational, safe, and enjoyable. With each passing day, you will develop into a skilled technician.
