Required Skills:Proficient experience with AWS or any Cloud Computing platform, along with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Salt, and programming in Python or Perl. Essential skills in Apache/Tomcat Web Server, JBoss, RedHat Linux, and MySQL. Experience in setting up and configuring monitoring tools (e.g., Wily, NewRelic, Splunk). Strong troubleshooting skills for production issues. Expertise in performance tuning for application and web tiers. Comprehensive understanding of End-to-End System Administration.

  • As an AppOps/DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing the daily operational tasks of our rapidly growing web-based services, ensuring they are scalable and reliable.
  • Your role will involve promoting operational excellence for the interconnected services our business provides to its customers.
  • Utilize your expertise in technology and operational best practices to drive the design, development, and execution of operational standards and capabilities for connected services, facilitating highly available, scalable, and reliable customer experiences.
  • Analyze and synthesize various inputs to manage the complete incident management process across multiple offerings.
  • This includes the creation, development, and management of the deployment architecture for applications.
  • Develop the monitoring architecture and implement monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations, and alerts.
  • Initiate and manage incident management processes, playbooks, and communication strategies with stakeholders.
  • Oversee change management and configuration management operating mechanisms.
  • Be part of a rotating on-call schedule, serving as the point of contact 12x7.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and risk management processes.
  • Continuously drive improvements and efficiencies in operational practices, tools, and processes across Business Units and Intuit as a whole.
