Responsibilities:Design advanced antenna and feed systems for next-generation products, including phased array and reflector systems. Fabricate and characterize prototypes of antennas, feed systems, and RF front ends. Contribute to software development and testing of digital beamforming systems to validate full phased array functionality. Provide expertise in phased array technology to establish specifications and troubleshoot issues related to satellite and consumer phased array products. Conduct design validation testing for both prototype and production designs. Assist in integrating antennas into spacecraft and other systems. Analyze operational RF performance data and explore methods to enhance performance and resolve issues. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.2+ years of research or development experience in RF and antenna systems (internship and thesis work are acceptable). Proficiency in RF design and testing methodologies. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

Role overview

This Antenna Engineer position focuses on full ownership of advanced antenna systems for Starlink. The scope covers phased array antennas, parabolic antennas, and other RF systems used across satellites, gateways, and end-user devices. The role involves creating new solutions that have not yet reached the market and influencing the core operations of the Starlink network.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and test phased array and parabolic antennas for satellite and ground applications
  • Lead projects from initial concept through to production deployment
  • Collaborate with teams across electrical, silicon, software, mechanical, and manufacturing disciplines
  • Work closely with senior leadership to shape the direction of the Starlink constellation and network
