Join our dynamic Analytics team within the UCD & Insights Capability, which encompasses User Research, Content Design, Interaction & UX Design, and Analytics. We are dedicated to working primarily in the public sector, collaborating with not-for-profit organizations, charities, social enterprises, and select private sector entities. Our current focus areas include education, apprenticeships & skills development, social care, rehabilitation, housing, and criminal justice.

- Addressing the core issues at hand;
- Creating straightforward and comprehensible solutions;
- Expanding a diverse set of technical skills;
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop actionable insights and narratives;
- Empowering clients through training and enhancing data literacy;
- Engaging in teamwork with peers and clients, providing constructive feedback and inquiries;
- Establishing repeatable, reliable, automated, and thoroughly documented processes to streamline workflows.
In this role, you will provide exceptional data analysis and visualization services for our clients. You will integrate into a multi-disciplinary client team alongside their personnel and other consultants/contractors. Your specific responsibilities will be shaped by client needs and your technical expertise. You may:
- Create dashboards using tools like Looker Studio, Power BI, or Amazon QuickSight;
- Write SQL queries to convert data into formats conducive to further analysis or visualization;
- Utilize SQL (or optionally Python) for data analysis;
- Collaborate with colleagues from diverse roles to generate insights that enhance decision-making regarding government policy, digital product strategy, or user experience;
- Define, analyze, and visualize KPIs and goals for government digital services (known as ‘performance analysis’ in the UK public sector).
Inspire and guide clients to make informed strategic decisions regarding their analytics approaches, advising on tools, data accessibility, outcomes, governance, and skill development. You will collaborate with others to fill any gaps in your knowledge and expertise.
Become an active contributor to our analytics community of practice by participating in training and development initiatives while sharing your own insights and experiences.
Depending on your skill set and interests, you may also take on additional coaching and training responsibilities, such as acting as a performance coach, providing informal support, or conducting formal training sessions.
