We are on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Group Investments team, bringing with them 1.5 to 3 years of investment experience. The successful candidate will independently assess real estate investment opportunities, perform intricate financial modeling, and produce high-quality investment papers and analyses to assist ESR's senior management in strategic decision-making.
This role will require collaboration with various key stakeholders, including the Group Strategy & Investments team on Mergers & Acquisitions opportunities and local investment teams on pivotal projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Evaluation: Independently evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities across diverse asset classes and regions, including both equity and debt structures.
- Financial Modelling: Construct and refine advanced financial models to scrutinize deal-level economics, sensitivity scenarios, and return indicators (e.g., IRR, equity multiple, cash-on-cash).
- Investment & Strategy Papers: Create well-structured investment memos and presentations for internal investment committees and senior leadership, detailing strategic rationale, risks, and recommendations.
- Market Research & Analysis: Execute macro and micro-level market research, competitive benchmarking, and due diligence to guide underwriting assumptions and investment strategies.
- Due Diligence Coordination: Collaborate with brokers, partners, legal counsel, and external advisors to facilitate effective deal execution.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide analytical support to senior management on demand, including portfolio assessments, hold/sell analyses, and performance tracking.
- Internal Investment Support: Evaluate potential investment opportunities from the broader business and collaborate with the Group Strategy & Investments team on Mergers & Acquisitions prospects.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will possess 1.5 to 3 years of experience in real estate investment, real estate fund management, or real estate private equity.
