The Role
We are on the lookout for a skilled Front-End Engineer - AI-First to become a vital member of our expanding engineering team. This position will give you ownership of the user-facing product, where you will deliver sleek, high-performance interfaces, utilize AI-enhanced tools to expedite development, and collaborate with product and design teams to translate intricate enterprise workflows into seamless front-end experiences.
What You’ll Do
Construct responsive, accessible, and scalable user interfaces employing modern front-end technologies such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Develop and sustain a shared component library or design system to guarantee consistency across the product.
Integrate with backend APIs/services (REST/SSE/GraphQL) to retrieve and display data, ensuring smooth communication between frontend and backend.
Harness AI-first tools (e.g., AI-assisted code generation, automated refactoring, AI-assisted testing/linting/code review) to enhance developer productivity while maintaining high code quality. (Given our AI-centric culture, this is fundamental to the role.)
Work in close collaboration with Product and Design teams to convert UX/wireframes into production-ready, user-friendly features.
Optimize performance, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility (responsive layouts, quick load times, smooth interactions).
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code; engage in code reviews; assist in defining front-end architecture and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
Required / Core Skills
Several years of professional experience in front-end engineering (or equivalent), with hands-on expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js).
Strong expertise in HTML, CSS (or CSS-in-JS/styling solutions), responsive design, and front-end fundamentals (DOM, browser behavior, layout, performance).
Experience integrating with APIs (REST/GraphQL) and collaboration with backend teams.
