About the Role
We are in search of passionate and dedicated individuals to join our expanding team. Currently, we have seven vacancies for the position of After Care Educators.

After Care Educator

This position entails providing general supervision and support to students during after-school hours. It’s an ideal role for those who thrive in a lively, varied environment and who are committed to creating a safe and nurturing space for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students ranging from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Design and lead engaging recreational activities.
  • Assist students with homework and offer academic support as necessary.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and promote teamwork.
  • Manage student behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and consistent practices.
  • Keep accurate records of attendance, incidents, and communications with parents.
  • Organize and supervise snack time and outdoor play activities.
  • Prepare and arrange materials for activities, ensuring the environment is clean and conducive to both learning and play.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Wednesdays from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date (including Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR).
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
