Location and Schedule

This Accounts Payable Accountant role is based at Lambda’s San Jose office on First St. In-person attendance is required four days per week. Tuesday is the designated remote workday.

What You Will Do

  • Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and support the Procure-to-Pay workflow.
  • Handle GL coding for vendor invoices, submit for approvals, process weekly payments, communicate with vendors, and assist with month-end close, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Enter invoices accurately, ensure compliance with vendor contracts and terms, and maintain correct chart of accounts mapping in the accounting system.
  • Take advantage of available early payment discounts.
  • Produce weekly AP Aging reports and analyze vendor payments.
  • Prepare and post payments with attention to accuracy and completeness.
  • Review vendor statements to identify missing or outstanding invoices.
  • Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies and respond to inquiries.
  • Oversee vendor creation, maintain the W9 database, and monitor the AP inbox.
  • Review company credit card transactions for accuracy and compliance with T&E policies.
  • Improve AP processes by using Coupa and integrated AI tools in daily work.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
