We are on the lookout for a meticulous and seasoned Accounting Manager to lead our core accounting operations in a dynamic, high-growth fintech environment. This pivotal role will oversee financial reporting, manage the month-end close process, implement internal controls, and ensure compliance while nurturing and developing a high-performing accounting team.
The ideal candidate will possess robust technical accounting skills and excel in navigating a fast-evolving regulatory landscape. While experience in fintech or cryptocurrency is an advantage, it is not a mandatory requirement.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Financial Reporting & Close
- Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements compliant with US GAAP or IFRS.
- Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Supervise general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Technical Accounting
- Research and interpret accounting standards to apply them to complex transactions.
- Develop and implement accounting policies ensuring consistent application throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with external auditors on technical accounting issues and audit deliverables.
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Enhance and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Support both internal and external audit processes.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with Finance Systems and cross-functional teams to improve ERP and reporting tools.
- Establish scalable accounting procedures to accommodate business growth.
Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Set clear performance goals and expectations for team members.
