Role Overview
As an Account Executive at Maxima, you will be instrumental in driving new business opportunities and extending our influence within enterprise finance sectors. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing deals. Engaging with CFOs, Controllers, and Accounting leaders, you will demonstrate how Maxima can revolutionize their month-end closure processes into a seamless and autonomous experience.
This role offers a unique chance to be part of a rapidly growing AI company during a crucial phase of its expansion. You will collaborate closely with our leadership, Product, and Marketing teams to refine our sales strategies, shape product direction based on customer insights, and influence our go-to-market approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle: Lead end-to-end sales from qualifying leads to closing, managing multiple high-value opportunities across mid-market and enterprise segments.
- Prospecting and Pipeline Generation: Collaborate with BDRs to identify, target, and engage potential customers through various outbound and inbound channels.
- Discovery and Solution Development: Identify customer challenges, uncover business needs, and present customized demos and ROI narratives showcasing Maxima’s unique advantages.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish robust relationships with finance executives and operations leaders to navigate intricate buying processes.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Ensure precise tracking of sales activities and pipeline management within CRM systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to facilitate smooth onboarding and ensure long-term success for our customers.
- Market Insights: Represent the customer voice internally, aiding in the refinement of our messaging, product priorities, and training materials.
