Role overview
The Programmatic Account Director leads a team of managers and executives based in both Delhi and the UK. This role oversees the full lifecycle of programmatic campaigns, from channel planning and setup to ongoing optimization and reporting. The director ensures all work meets Wavemaker’s standards and delivers clear, actionable results to clients.
Clients in this portfolio range from brands focused on driving uplift to those aiming for quality web traffic and direct sales. The director manages programmatic media activities across multiple buying routes, working closely with the Digital Planning team and direct reports to achieve strong campaign outcomes.
The team
Over 20 professionals make up the programmatic group, managing a varied client list that includes Audible, Danone, Paramount, and Nationwide. Recent new business wins have created opportunities to further grow the self-serve programmatic practice.
Requirements
- Experience leading teams in programmatic media, ideally across multiple locations
- Strong understanding of campaign planning, setup, optimization, and reporting
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver results for a diverse client base
