Welcome to Toss Place! At Toss Place, we are dedicated to ensuring the success of all entrepreneurs. In just two years since our launch, we have surpassed 100,000 merchant partnerships, redefining the payment landscape and addressing challenges faced by physical stores. We create solutions that make operations simpler for business owners and enhance payment experiences for customers. By proposing innovative solutions that break the mold of traditional POS systems and payment terminals, we are transforming the entire retail experience beyond mere transactions. The Product Designer Role at Toss Place As a Product Designer at Toss Place, you will take full ownership and responsibility for solving problems experienced by three key user groups: business owners, end customers, and device sales agents. You will be involved in all facets of delivering value to customers, including UX, UI, marketing, and branding initiatives. We expect you to challenge preconceived notions about payment devices and POS systems to create unprecedented user experiences. Given our focus on physical retail, your role will not be confined to screens alone; you will engage directly with the field to gain a holistic understanding and solve problems in real-world settings, offering you a vibrant and dynamic experience. Throughout this process, you will collaborate with top experts across various fields, including UX researchers, hardware designers, data analysts, and business strategists. Qualifications We Are Looking For We need someone who has experience in identifying customer needs based on quantitative or qualitative data rather than their own assumptions. You should have hands-on experience in designing solutions that meet customer requirements and successfully launching them to the market. To achieve optimal customer experiences, you must possess strong logical communication skills to persuade and collaborate effectively with team members. Proficiency in UI design tools like Figma and Framer is essential for creating well-structured and aesthetically pleasing App/Web UIs. Experience with structuring UI and consistent UX for complex information, technologies, and policies is a plus. The ability to evaluate and improve your designs through data is advantageous. Experience in POS or kiosk services is not mandatory; we value your insights gained from diverse fields. Please Note You can apply for the Product Designer role in two ways by selecting your preferred method after clicking the 'Apply' button. Apply easily without a portfolio: If you have one solid case study that showcases your skills, prepare it according to five questions we provide, and you can apply without a formal portfolio.
