Role overview
This New Graduate Software Engineer position is a full-stack role based in New York. The program is designed for recent or soon-to-be graduates, offering a year-long experience that packs three years of learning into one. Participants work on real projects from the start, gaining hands-on experience and seeing their code make a difference for customers.
Program structure
- Week 1 (Onboarding): Learn Loop’s tools and domain. Write production code from day one and complete a full development cycle by the end of the week.
- Months 1-3 (Velocity): Tackle three entry-level projects, each more complex than the last. By the end of this phase, operate independently as an engineer.
- Months 4-9 (The Rotation): Rotate through several teams to broaden your skills:
- Platform: Contribute to AI infrastructure and engineering systems.
- Core Product: Work on audit, billing, and payments features.
- Commercial: Support revenue-focused projects and forward deployed engineering.
- Special Projects: Collaborate with Loop’s CEO, CTO, and other leaders.
- Month 9+ (Graduation): Demonstrate mid-level engineering skills and become eligible for immediate promotion.
