Position Overview:

We are in search of both operatives and drivers with experience in Traffic Management. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a leading Traffic Management client.

All candidates must possess experience in one or more of the following roles:

  • M1 / M2 Operative
     

Job Responsibilities:

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will work alongside both direct and sub-contract labour to meet targets and deadlines effectively.

 

Key Duties Include:

  • Establishing temporary traffic lights at designated locations
  • Overseeing traffic flow at temporary traffic lights to ensure public compliance
  • Reporting necessary updates to the site or operations manager
  • Exhibiting reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings
  • Maintaining and removing traffic management systems within stipulated timeframes
  • Setting up traffic lights
  • Assisting in traffic diversion
  • Ensuring the team operates safely and efficiently to achieve optimal results and maintain quality standards
  • Adhering to Health & Safety at Work Act regulations at all times
  • Complying with provided RAMS
  • Aiding in the loading and unloading of materials
  • Following safe working practices as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments
  • Reporting any defects in plant and vehicles
